David Mikeal’s musical journey began at age 6 on piano before picking up the guitar at age 12. By his mid-20s, David had emerged as the lead guitarist and lead vocalist for the Atlanta-based rock powerhouse MPG, signed to major record label A&M Records.

Transitioning into record production and audio engineering, David established Difference Studios in Winter Park, FL, before launching Studio Live USA in Oviedo/Orlando. Over his four-decade career, David has produced, engineered, written, and performed across rock, country, Americana, ambient, and gospel genres.

David’s production credits include assistant engineering on Don Henley’s acclaimed album Cass County (2015), producing Pete Hunt & Southern Branded Band, co-writing and producing for Simple Southern Boys, and composing ambient releases with Terrell and Diane Jones.

Today, David works directly with artists through Studio Live USA and KDS Studios, providing tracking, analog mixing, arrangement, and record production.
